Isn't Technology Great?!

I was thinking earlier this week about how our society has changed over the last 20+ years.  Back when The Court Company started (over 35 years ago!), we didn’t use cell phones or email as a way to communicate with our contractors or clients around the world – or even here within the United States.  Everything was completed the old fashioned way – via land line phones and snail mail.   Nobody had websites as a way to reach out to partners around the world and the internet wasn’t readily available as a means to research products.  Architects had to research products from large collections of catalogs and customers couldn’t easily educate themselves on our products without a set of brochures in hand.

These days, we live in a time when technology helps us all in so many ways which helps make our lives easier.  Having the ability to search the web for the right type of construction products for a project is a simple click away.  Having the ability to receive information via email simply takes a few characters that make up an email address.  In today’s society, we have so much information at our fingertips.  For you, a consumer, this is such an easy way to hunt down and determine what you want for your project. For us, it enables us to reach people, like you, much faster and to put information in your hands easier.

To help deliver this information to you, we’ve continued to update our websites (www.racquetballcourts.com and www.squashcourts.com) with new and updated details so you have the ability to learn about our products at your own pace. We give you the ability to ask questions, to view pictures from some of our completed projects, to research information, and to request brochures.   By maintaining an internet presence, we are able to reach people in all areas of the world.   It’s fascinating that we can chat with people on each continent and help with their upcoming projects while we sit at our desks in the Colorado and Tennessee.  As early as 15 years ago, that wasn’t as possible as it is today.  Today we can “chat” online with clients in Botswana, Nigeria, China, Russia, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Spain, Guatemala, New Zealand, and Canada just to name a small handful of countries who seek us out.  Isn't technology great?!
